eXel Satellite, Inc. announces its partnership with TeleStar (TVSA) for the deployment of a Flyaway System to be located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The acquisition enhances the operations of eXel Satellite Services division, creating the first transportable fleet in the nation. eXel will now operate a fully automated Ku-band system and will expand to a C-band unit early next year. Our goal is to provide the highest level of customer service, coupled with the most technically sound antenna in Haiti.

ImageeXel's units now include digital compression, Tandberg encoders, VTRs, cameras, and other production equipment.

eXel Satellite Services will provide turnkey broadcasting solutions for clients worldwide. Our engineers have performed more than 40,000 uplinks for clients in various industries, originated and/or delivered over 50 full-time cable networks and provided satellite services for more than 200 clients. Our experiences include C-and Ku-band satellite trucks; network origination and playback; domestic and international satellite transmissions; fiber optics; space segments; remote and studio video production.

Coming in February 2009 - Ch 57-1 Digital

Tele Star International and eXel Satellite is proud to announce the launching of Tele Star. (Tele Star) will broadcast on Ch 57-1 Digital and is a state-of-the-art television station owned by a group of professionals with extensive years of experience in the broadcasting industry.

The station will launch in February of 2009, with the mission to serve as a vital link, re-connecting the Haitians in South Florida to their roots, while strengthening their acculturation to the American way of life. Tele Star will feature shows that highlight the daily life in Haiti and the lifestyles of the Haitian communities in the US for the purpose of mutual understanding.

Tele Star will cover:

Monroe,

Dade, and

Broward counties,

 From Key West to Coral Springs.

These three (3) counties, of which Miami is a city, represent a total population of 3,350,016 or 1,339,543 housing units, consistent with the 2000 V-Soft Communications Gross Population Report.

Simultaneously, from its studios located in Miami Dade County, FL, from the Tele Star studios in Port-au-prince and on the internet, Tele Star will digitally broadcast news directly from Haiti and around the globe in Creole, French, and English detailing the latest in Music, Fashion and Entertainment industries as well as Politics, Economics, and Health.

Tele Star will be the first and only Haitian television station in the US to broadcast digitally directly from Haiti and over-the-air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
