eXel Satellite, Inc. announces its partnership with TeleStar (TVSA) for the deployment of a Flyaway System to be located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The acquisition enhances the operations of eXel Satellite Services division, creating the first transportable fleet in the nation. eXel will now operate a fully automated Ku-band system and will expand to a C-band unit early next year. Our goal is to provide the highest level of customer service, coupled with the most technically sound antenna in Haiti.  eXel's units now include digital compression, Tandberg encoders, VTRs, cameras, and other production equipment.
