eXel Satellite LLC announces the acquisition of a Flyaway System to be located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to cover the upcoming elections. The acquisition enhances the operations of eXel Satellite Services division, creating the first transportable fleet in the nation. eXel will now operate a fully automated Ku-band system and will expand to a C-band unit early next year. Our goal is to provide the highest level of customer service, coupled with the most technically sound antenna in Haiti.

eXel Satellite intends to continue to operate a technical support facility in Port-au-Prince after the elections. Transportable scheduling, operations and maintenance will occur in both Washington DC and Port-au-Prince.
